Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and provide product Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS’s) and label warning statements in compliance with all appropriate regulations and in a timely manner.
Assist manufacturing and distribution facilities with their employee hazard communications responsibilities by providing accessible, updated MSDS’s for all materials, including chemical raw materials, intermediates and products.
Assure that Manufacturing, R&D and Marketing are properly informed of specific regulatory issues - existing and impending - impacting the use, handling, distribution and / or disposal of products, intermediates and / or chemical raw materials.
Provide timely assessments of developmental materials - including chemical raw materials and formulations - in order to assure that their health & safety, transportation and disposal considerations are fully understood relative to business impact and customer satisfaction.
Provide timely customer support – internal and external.

Record customer complaints regarding product health and exposure issues and, when of significance in numbers or effect, take appropriate action in consultation with the local Manager, Regulatory Affairs.
Participate to the degree necessary in the preparation of customer specific forms and other customer support activities, as required.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of U-T products, chemistries and processes.
Assist and collaborate with other Regulatory Affairs Groups around the world.
Assure compliance with chemical control regulations including, but not limited to, raw material status in relation to the U.S. TSCA Inventory and Canadian Domestic Substances List (DSL).

Plant HR Leader/Organization Development Specialist - Owens Corning - Waxahachie, TX



Looking for candidate with Bachelor’s Degree, 6+ years exp as an HR Leader/Manager in manufacturing environment, unnion experience - grievance resolution, arbitration, contract negotiation, strong in organizational development (OD), succession planning, and training.

The Plant Human Resources Leader & Organization Development Specialist provides HR and business leadership to their plant site and advises the Plant Leadership on all matters related to human capital. This is a key position on the HR Leadership Team, responsible for managing and delivering HR strategies and tactics in order to improve business results. This person will be an effective change agent, and a positive force in the effectiveness and engagement of the workforce. The Plant HR Leader will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, employee/labor relations, communications, training and organizational development & effectiveness. The primary focus will be creating and implementing change management plans that minimize employee resistance while maximizing employee engagement and trust in the Waxahachie plant.

Responsibilities:





1. Safety



Lead and support safety initiatives and processes to drive towards zero recordable injuries.

· Co-leads with Corporate Labor Relations to ensure labor agreements support a lean work system.

Job Requirements



Experience:

1. 5-10 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment.

Sr. Generalist, HR - Field - RSC Equipment Rental - Olathe, KS (relocation available)



Looking for candidate with Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years consistent and current HR Generalist experience - employee relations, career progression, travel/field experience, PHR a plus, HRIS, Construction or related industry preferred.

Serves as a field Human Resources business partner to provide excellent customer service and recommends, develops and implements strategic human capital solutions to assigned client group. Under the direction of Regional HR Director, the Sr. HR Generalist will:

• Partner with RPO and hiring managers is coordinating the recruitment process for site-based positions. Maintains knowledge of and advises customer base on relevant compliance and federal and state regulatory guidelines and laws. Obtains information to enhance employee retention and engagement by conducting, analyzing and interpreting exit interviews or surveys as needed. May provide related Company training.

• Assists with new hire onboarding to assure completion of all required company training ("Core Compliance" training).

• Coordinates the company's response to all Unemployment Claims throughout the Region.

• Supports special projects such as developing or enhancing employee referral programs, assessment and selection processes, new-hire onboarding and relocation programs.
