Services Marketing/Offer Manager

Summary Description:
The Services Marketing/Offer Manager is responsible for managing the global services portfolio (Annuity, Transaction, Managed Services, and Professional Services) for discrete offers/programs to achieve profitable revenue growth and business plan objectives. He/She translates market, competitive intelligence and solution requirements into services requirements and brings to market services offers (products) that are packaged and tailored for given industry vertical(s) (line of business) and geographies from concept through discontinuation.

Integrates Service Offers to strengthen our solution value proposition, build competitive differentiation and customer retention. Provides holistic view of the services portfolio - market, strategy and brand. Supports industry verticals (lines of business), Region Sales and Deployment.

Develops offers and sales kits including value quantification BIM (Business Impact Models) - works collaboratively with Solution Management/Marketing, Services Design & Engineering to operationalize the offer for implementation ensuring Area Ready to Deliver Service.

Develops and coordinates launch plans and program including Marcom activities with respective business partners such as industry verticals, region sales and Marketing Communications.

The Services Marketing/Offer Management is a combined role which provides a holistic approach that includes both OUTBOUND and INBOUND focus activities such as:

• Outbound Focus
o Services Offer Requirements, Strategy, Roadmaps
o Market and Competitive Intelligence and Analysis including "Attack/Winback" Programs
o Services Offer Evangelist and Expert, Sales Support/Demand Creation
o Customer Support
o Go to Market Plans and Programs: Key Messages, Value Proposition, Value Quantification, Area Ready to Sell - Sales Kit/Collateral i.e. Presentation, Proposal Content, Scope of Service/Statement of Work, Contract Addendum, Competitive Analysis, Pricing, Datasheets etc..
o Service Launch (training, announcements) and Market Events (programs, tradeshows, webinars)


• Inbound Focus
o Offer Development, roadmaps and realization - concept through discontinuation
o Business Plan development, Program Metrics for success
o Program Management Phase Gate review, investment prioritization, revenue and deliverables interlock with cross functional owners
o Program tracking and reporting (Funnel, file value, revenue etc)


The Services Marketing/Offer Manager will be responsible for defining, implementing and deploying service offers across NCR's targeted vertical industries (Financial, Payments and Retail, Hospitality, Travel/Gaming, Healthcare and Telco. The primary focus will be Financial and Payments. The services offers and programs may be part of NCR Solutions and/or Services led offers and programs which are designed to further NCR's service leadership. There will be a heavy focus on Geographic expansion, Managed Services, Software, and Professional Services.
He/She will be responsible for building out a comprehensive, highly differentiated services portfolio that enables NCR to build market, wallet and mind share by translating industry/customer/solution requirements, identifying portfolio gaps, enhancing existing offers, and developing new services that can be implemented to support profitable growth of our business.

The Services Marketing/Offer Manager is responsible for the Services Portfolio assigned and managing the cross functional deliverables from concept to discontinuation. He/she would lead framing opportunities or problems, conceptualizing ideas or solutions, defining requirements, defining scope of service, pricing strategy and discount frameworks, developing sales and marketing collateral and working closely with key constituency (Customers, Industry Forums/Partners, NCR Industry and Product /Solution Marketing and Management, Marketing Deployment, Services Design and Engineering, Sales, Services Operations) to bring to market the Service Solution.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Understand the market (industry, customer and competition) and NCR in-order to develop and manage opportunities to grow services revenue and improve margins
• Develop services offers and programs to drive demand / results for Services in Targeted Industries and solutions including Multi-vendor
• Responsible for Annual Strategic Long Range Plan and Annual Operational Plan for respective programs including evolution of the strategy, market/competitive factors, revenue and investment projections, price/contract erosion, potential business development and/or game changing opportunities
• Work with Sales, Services Design & Engineering, Service Delivery & Operation leadership to solve complex business issues
• Develop, and realize program business plans and track key metrics/performance

Deliverables which would lead to successful completion of above responsibilities include, among others:
• Solutions Design and Identification (Requirements, Value Proposition, customer economic model)
• Business Case (market, competition, capability, pricing strategy, NCR economic model)
• Thought leadership on Services Trends, Strategy, Requirements and Direction both internally, with customers and industry forums, analysts
• Go-to-market strategy (customers, customer/sales tools, competition)
• Acts as Subject Matter Expert and provides consultative support and synthesis of competitive intelligence


Work Environment:
This customer facing position is located in Duluth, GA and requires about 10-15% domestic and international travel.

He/She will also possess qualities and characteristic of a person interested in management potential. He/She must have the ability to understand in depth Industry / solution and services requirements and think holistically and yet focus on specific areas as necessary.

Product Marketing Management responsibilities of this position includes demand creation, managing program success criteria and results i.e. attach/win rates, business plan as well as partnering with Region Sales, Solution Marketing/Management, Services Design & Engineering in developing Services opportunities as part of a total solution sales approach.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in retail banking, payments and/or services
• Functional qualifications: strong product / services management, program development and release success
• 5-10+ years work experience in a technology or services related business
• US Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or closely related degree
• Strong Business Acumen/Analytical Skills, complex pricing structures/frameworks
• Advanced PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication / presentation skills (oral & written)
• Multi-lingual - is an asset
• Knowledge of NCR systems/tools (SPT,WOT, GSDB, Team etc..) is an asset
