JOB PURPOSE & REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Reporting to the Sales Manager for Converter Products (CP), Power Electronics, the Statcom Sales Engineer pursues sales in the N. American market for the assigned products, systems and services. The Sales Engineer establishes focused pursuit strategies to secure established order volumes and

prepares proposals, and leads the sales pursuit.

Data Architecture Manager (Manager, Systems Architect)
As the leader of Data Architecture team for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (DW), this role is responsible to ensure correct architectural decisions around projects are consistent with the overall architecture vision. This role will work as a part of the Information Management (IM) organization, specifically the Architecture and Modeling team. This role will have responsibility for all data architects/modelers and solution architects. This position requires: expert level understanding of data warehousing concepts including both ER and Dimensional modeling and data integration (ETL, ELT), Business Intelligence/Information Delivery including experience creating architecture solution documents/architectural trade-offs, and sound decision-making.

The Architecture team is a leadership group within the Information Management team and is responsible for regular communications with the Enterprise Architecture team, IT groups, across IM and into development and support groups. The IM architecture strategies must line-up with overall IT architecture and strategies for the strategic vision for data warehousing at T-Mobile - working with and aligning to other business IT groups. Another responsibility is to work with the Solution Architect to help assess business requests and align to business data requirements to ensure the most efficient and effective architectural solutions are designed and implemented.

With respect to the Data Architecture/Modeling function, this role will have responsibility for continuing to organize this team and leading us to a central architect managed data model and data model standards & consistency with the EDW Chief Architects direction. This role will ensure data model consistency through reviews. It will also conduct business data modeling sessions with the business for all projects. This position will need mastery of understanding data relationships and how those are practically applied to high-performance information reporting, OLAP, operational and general analytical reporting. Currently, the data model is not centrally managed by the modeling team. The successful candidate will need to lead and drive the team to own, manage and deploy the data model via ERwin the DBA team. This leader will key role will be responsible for managing "single version of truth" core data models for the integrated EDW architectures. This includes modeling of the integration layer (IDS), DW (Teradata, and Greenplum) data storage areas. This person is responsible for ensuring the data models are consistent, and conform to enterprise and data modeling standards. Also, this role will be responsible for ongoing maintenance of the data models in their area of focused data subjects/subject areas. This team will work in parallel to complete data models for T-Mobile's Enterprise Data Warehouse Environment, including an integration layer (Oracle) model and data warehouse (Teradata) model. They will work from business data models gathered from business user sessions (data modeling workshops), and from the data requirements document provided by the Business Analyst team. These business data modeling sessions will be lead by data modelers with an interest in this and/or the Lead Data Architect/Modeler.

This position requires ERwin expert-level expertise. Also, requires experience with Teradata and Oracle database (skills on UNIX) are also helpful in order to perform DB functions such as DDLs and custom DML's as needed. Familiarity with Informatica is helpful. Understanding reporting performance turning concepts and how they relate to building data models and Teradata/Oracle database tuning assistance will be helpful.

Experience modeling complex hierarchies, models for performance and experience with logical and physical modleing techniques with Teradata is a plus. Greenplum experience also a plus.
