As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, this is your unique opportunity to set your mark and live on the leading edge. This position will lead the technical definition and design for the creation and maintenance of digital solutions – websites, mobile applications, content management, and e-commerce. The Architect must work with internal users and external vendors to architect our solutions for projected growth while maintaining stability, security, and usability. This role will be responsible for creating and implementing technical designs to bring disparate website technologies together to form a unified customer experience.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Champion hardware/software standards. Develop, evaluate and provide direction in the application of programming efforts pertaining to languages used, techniques, methods, and file types. Assure compliance with system development standards, procedures, guidelines, priorities and schedules.
- Translates business needs into technical solutions using seasoned judgment to suggest approaches that optimize among customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities.
- Development of technical visioning plan in areas of expertise considering future business needs and emerging technologies.
- Suggests system enhancements to provide operational reliability and integration ensuring the business with consistent systems availability and quality.
- Plan, investigate, evaluate and maintain system development equipment and software.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Prepares business strategy materials and is capable of presenting to upper management.
- Capable of effectively participating in multiple concurrent development projects. Collaborates directly with all management levels and project leaders to determine system objectives and solutions.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY
- Bachelor’s Degree required; area of study in Information Technology preferred.
- 10+ years IT experience including 3 – 5+ years showing success as technical lead in concurrent projects.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions using Java Based technologies
- Significant depth of expertise and track record of accomplishments and leadership skills in multiple IT technology areas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and project management skills. The ability to drive process re-design and improvements and provide direction to others for the implementation of those improvements is required.
- Current knowledge in digital web related technologies in support of enterprise applications.
