Kohler Sales Executive, New York City


Seeking local candidate with 3+ years proven sales experience preferably calling on construction market - architects, designers, and homebuilders. Other preferences include engineering degrees with sales experience or award-winning sales. Bachelor's degree required.

As a Sales Executive - New York City this is your unique opportunity to set your mark and live on the leading edge. This position will drive market share for Kohler, Kallista & Sterling brands with key specifiers by developing Kohler, Kallista & Sterling commitment in the NYC specification and construction market. This role is responsible for developing and owning the relationships with channel influencers including designers, architects, and developers.


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
• Builds relationships with architect targets and designers at all levels.
• Drive implementation of Kohler, Kallista and Sterling construction and hospitality programs and promotions.
• Will assist in educating customers on new products, market trends, plumbing codes as needed.
• Working as a consultant to key specifiers, help to create/convert plumbing specifications in the NYC area.
• Develops specific sales plans, proposals, and strategies for new construction channels.
• Drives the implementation of Kohler Co. programs and promotions in the builder channel.
• Drives the positioning of Kohler as the preferred supplier to new residential and commercial construction channels.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY

Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing or sales required. A minimum of three years sales experience with a solid understanding of two-step distribution processes. Individual will preferably have experience working with designers/architects. Knowledge of residential construction industry would be a plus. Good communication and presentation skills are key.
