As a Sr. Project Manager – Supply Chain Operating Systems, this is your unique opportunity to set your mark and live on the leading edge. This position will support Kohler’s continued domestic and international growth by providing Supply Chain Project Management services for the design and implementation of Supply Chain process and organization improvements. The Sr. Project Manager will
drive end-to-end improvements in global supply chain performance through application of best practices in processes and technology.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
  • Drive improvement in global supply chain performance through application of best practices (Supply Chain Operations Reference Model - SCOR, Six Sigma, Lean) and technology. Monitor results to ensure improvements are maintained and benefits are sustainable over the long term.
  • Act as change agent, identifying areas of supply chain performance improvement that are in alignment with the strategic direction of the company.
  • Participate in and contribute towards defining a supply chain improvement project’s scope and content. Develop project budgets, schedules, quality standards and identify project support and documentation requirements. Communicate the project to supporting departments and direct their activities to provide expertise as required by project scope and content. Lead and facilitate projects.
  • Supervise supporting associates in the development of project documentation to include specifications and design documents to support project content, goals and objectives.
  • Create, report and set targets for strategic metrics.
  • Assist business unit by filling gaps with functional knowledge and expertise.
  • Create and maintain supply chain improvement methodology and tool sets.
  • Develop and maintain Supply Chain Policies and Procedures.
  • Drive curricula development for each Supply Chain discipline for the Learning Academy.
  • Provide on-going training and information relating to supply chain metrics, standard processes and best practices.
  • Reports to the Director – Supply Chain Operating Systems. Frequent contact with business unit management. May work with external suppliers/vendors/contractors and customer
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain or operations
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the front-end Supply Chain processes (Supply and Demand Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Optimization).
  • End-to-end knowledge (Integrated SC Management) with experience in Supply Chain strategy development and SC performance management
  • Worked for a manufacturing company with global footprint of comparable size, preferably consumer packaged goods
  • Strong project management skills and a track record of results.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems related to Supply Chain processes, preferably SAP. Most depth in Supply and Demand Planning as well as Inventory Optimization applications.
  • Broad knowledge and application experience with process improvement, structured problem solving, and supply chain management best practices (Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Understanding of the SCOR framework and implementation methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and coach. Excellent team facilitation skills. Build teams in a collaborative work style; previous successful experience in team building and motivating others.
  • Strategic business acumen and deployment; taking creative action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a strategic systematic approach to decision-making.
  • Able to communicate effectively with others and establish credibility.
  • Able to overcome obstacles using positive facilitation, teamwork, and influence through building and maintaining relationships.
SKILL PREFERENCES – HOW YOU CAN STAND OUT
  • Advanced Degree, nice to have
  • Skilled in utilizing a global company-wide SC improvement process. Experience with SCOR and SC Maturity Models is a plus.
  • Experience both in SC and Operations is a plus.
  • Multi-industry experience and exposure to both Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order product portfolio is a plus.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and 3-12 years proven successful sales experience. The candidate will be responsible for promoting the sales growth of Kohler & Kallista (high end plumbing) brands through distributors working with designers, architects, custom home builders, etc. 


Under general supervision of a Sales Manager, this role is responsible for conducting moderately complex sales activities within an assigned territory or account. This position will be responsible for promoting and servicing Kohler Co. plumbing products through distributors to designers, architects, custom home builders, and other specifiers and users in accordance with established company goals, policies, and procedures.

As a Sales Executive, this position is responsible for the profitable sales growth of Kohler & Kallista brands through the specifying community, made up of Architects, Designers, Customer Builder Community and Boutique Hospitality projects. This role will leverage usage of Kohler Signature Store and Premier Showrooms for the specifying community.


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

• Establish and maintain regular contact with distributor Kohler Signature Store and Premier Showroom locations in assigned territory to drive usage by specifying community (Architects, Designers and Custom Builders). Host events and programs at these showrooms to add value and support.
• Establish and maintain top 25 contact with custom home builders, architects, and designers to inform them of the advantages of using Kohler Co. plumbing products and to motivate them towards specifying Kohler Co. plumbing products for their customers.
• Execute CEU’s, Lunch and Learns, and custom training events to specifying community.
• Work jointly with Account and Showroom sales associates to create sales plans, define target customers and complement pull through of sales specified.
• Analyze and evaluate assigned territory regarding sales trends and potentials, competition, economic/business conditions, and performance; recommend changes in sales programs and customers to make territory/account more effective in meeting sales volume quotas.
• Prepare annual sales forecast, for assigned territory, projecting sales volume for the next year based on knowledge of sales trends and potentials, area competition and economic/business conditions. Review and discuss sales quotas with Regional Sales Manager.
• Conduct on-site consumer inspections as required; service account and customer complaints regarding product quality, installation or performance.
• Attend and participate in Company sales meetings and trade or industry meetings, shows and conventions to increase knowledge of Kohler Co. plumbing products, improve selling techniques and cultivate good working relationships with accounts and product users.
• Prepare various correspondence, reports and forms related to daily activities, expenses, claims, etc.
• Manage pricing programs in territory according to established company policies and procedures.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing required. 2-4 years of sales experience required. Must possess strong skills in written and oral communication with all levels of management and with outside contacts.

Sr. Project Engineer – Kohler Power Systems - Mosel, WI


Performs assignments of a complicated nature. Leads engineering subtasks involving the design, fabrication, validation, and manufacture of subassemblies, systems, processes, equipment or facilities related to gaseous-fueled industrial generator sets. Conceives and plans engineering subtasks to explore product or process problems; defines and selects new concepts and approaches to the design or development of new or improved products, processes or equipment. Must be willing to work in a matrix environment and be able juggle multiple projects or tasks.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare detail project plans, including statements of technical objectives and approaches, task breakdowns, schedules, project cost estimates and product cost analyses, submit for approval.
2. Direct and coordinate all work on assigned projects by engineers, support personnel and outside groups involving design, development, drafting, sample construction and delivery, test and evaluation, and release for production.
3. Personally carry out in-depth design and development engineering work of advanced or pioneering nature involving complex analytic and/or experimental techniques at a professional engineering level.
4. Counsel and train less senior engineers and technical support personnel in technical areas as required or requested.
5. Maintain project records; prepare technical, cost and other reports as requested to show progress and results achieved.
6. Contribute sound professional advice and creative new ideas, concepts and approaches relative to new design and development projects.
7. Keep abreast and well informed of state-of-the-art and important events in areas relevant to engine design and development through publications, outside contacts, meetings, shows, seminars and short courses.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
  • § Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline from an ABET accredited engineering program or a PE license.
§ Experience with large gas or diesel engine design, development or application is preferred.
§ 3 - 8 years work experience
